JOVARO CLIP AI
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how JOVARO Clip AI ("Clip AI", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our video clipping, editing, and social publishing tools.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, Clip AI may process the following information:
- account authorization information, including OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, account identifiers, usernames, profile information, and granted permissions;
- videos, audio, public video URLs, transcripts, captions, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and other publishing metadata;
- technical information such as application logs, request status, processing status, and error information;
- user-selected settings, publishing choices, editing preferences, and other instructions submitted to Clip AI.
2. How We Use Information
Information may be used to:
- authenticate and connect supported accounts;
- analyze, transcribe, clip, edit, caption, and prepare videos;
- generate titles, descriptions, captions, hashtags, and other metadata;
- upload or publish content to platforms you explicitly connect and select;
- maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Clip AI;
- comply with applicable legal and third-party platform requirements.
3. Local Storage
Clip AI is currently designed primarily as a locally operated application.
Connected-platform authorization credentials may be stored on the user's own computer in private local application files so the user does not need to reconnect their accounts every time the application runs.
These files may contain access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiry information, platform account identifiers, and granted scopes.
4. Third-Party Services
Clip AI may interact with third-party services when required to provide requested features.
These services may include:
- OpenAI for supported transcription, analysis, or content-generation features;
- Google and YouTube for account authorization and supported video publishing features;
- TikTok for account authorization and, where approved and available, supported publishing features;
- Meta and Instagram for account authorization and supported Reel publishing features;
- Cloudinary where a temporary publicly reachable media URL is required during a supported publishing workflow.
Third-party services process information under their own terms, developer policies, and privacy policies.
5. Temporary Media Handling
Some social publishing platforms require a publicly accessible video URL before a video can be published.
Where Clip AI uses a temporary media-hosting service, the intention is to store the media only as long as reasonably necessary to complete the requested publishing workflow.
Temporary media may remain available longer if a publishing job is pending, fails, or requires retrying.
6. Sale and Advertising
JOVARO does not sell personal information collected through Clip AI.
Clip AI does not provide your private account authorization data to advertisers.
Information may be sent to third-party providers only when required to provide a feature requested by the user or where required by law.
7. Data Retention
Locally stored authorization credentials may remain on the user's device until the account is disconnected, the credentials expire, or the files are removed.
Generated videos, cached files, transcripts, logs, and processing artifacts may remain locally until deleted by the user or cleaned up by the application.
Third-party service providers may have their own retention practices.
8. Account Disconnection and Revoking Access
Users may revoke Clip AI's access through the relevant third-party platform, where supported.
Users may also disconnect accounts from Clip AI where that functionality is available.
Revoking access may prevent certain Clip AI publishing or account features from functioning until authorization is granted again.
9. Your Choices
You may stop using Clip AI at any time.
You may also:
- disconnect supported social accounts;
- revoke platform permissions;
- remove locally stored Clip AI credentials and generated files;
- contact JOVARO regarding privacy or deletion questions.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical measures intended to protect application credentials and data.
This includes keeping sensitive credentials out of browser-facing code where appropriate and using private local application storage for supported authorization information.
However, no system, storage method, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. User Content
Clip AI does not claim ownership of videos or other content merely because that material is processed through the application.
Users remain responsible for ensuring they have permission to process and publish their content.
12. Children
Clip AI is not intended for users who are not legally permitted to use the connected services.
Users are responsible for meeting the age and eligibility requirements of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and any other service they connect.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Clip AI develops and additional features are introduced.
The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
